Psychotherapist

A psychotherapist is a trained mental health professional who specializes in providing therapy and counselling to individuals, couples, families, or groups. Using evidence-based techniques and approaches, psychotherapists help clients explore and address a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and psychological issues.

Jordanne Mulkewich is a warm and empathetic Registered Psychotherapist (RP) working virtually across Ontario. She holds a Master of Science in Psychotherapy from McMaster University. She has extensive training and clinical experience providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to a wide variety of presenting concerns. 

Jordanne has worked at the Anxiety Treatment and Research Clinic and Seniors Mental Health outpatient clinic at St. Josephs’ Healthcare Hamilton where she supported individuals with mood and anxiety-related concerns including social anxiety, health anxiety, perfectionism, depression and specific phobias. 

Jordanne is skilled at working with youth (13+) and adults struggling with low mood, social anxiety, general worry and low self-esteem, specific phobias (e.g., driving and vomiting), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and perfectionistic concerns. Jordanne takes a collaborative and client centered approach in order to flexibly offer evidence-based treatment in a meaningful and effective manner.She values creating a safe and inclusive space, and is committed to providing each individual the opportunity to be heard, cared for and validated. 

In her free time, you can find Jordanne hiking and camping or trying a new coffee shop in town. She has also recently rediscovered her love for art and enjoys watercolour painting!
