Jessie originates from the Georgian Bay area and has a passion for helping people. Jessie has worked in the mental health field for 14 years and uses evidenced-based therapies to improve negative mental health symptoms.
Jessie obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in psychology from Brock University in 2009 and earned a Postgraduate Certificate in addiction treatment and Interventions from Georgian College in 2010 where she then worked as a concurrent disorder therapist, treating adults, teens and families who have addiction and mental health concerns.
In her passion for learning, Jessie then earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of North Dakota in 2016 and completed an Advanced Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy through the University of Toronto. From there Jessie has worked as a full-time CBT therapist treating adults with depression, anxiety and trauma-related concerns. Jessie is also a registered CPT Provider, specializing in treating individuals with PTSD using Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Learn more about CPT.
Outside of work, Jessie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being in nature, reading and is forever challenging herself to try new hobbies. She has a passion for DIY projects and baking.
Jessie’s rate is $170 for a 50-minute session.
