Danielle Pearson is a registered social worker and experienced cognitive behavioural (CBT) therapist. She specializes in treating post-traumatic stress, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and other mental health concerns using evidence-based CBT techniques.
Danielle uses a compassionate, non-judgmental approach, using warmth and humour to foster an effective therapeutic relationship with each client. She aims to empower you by providing practical tools and strategies to explore your concerns and manage your thoughts and behaviours effectively, leading to long-term positive change.
She holds a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Toronto Metropolitan University, and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Toronto and has undergone extensive training in CBT. Danielle was a therapist in the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy Program for over five years and currently works as an Operations Manager at the South Georgian Bay Community Health Centre.
Danielle loves exploring the arts and the world around us. She lives in the Collingwood area with her partner, son and blue heeler pup.
